As another year comes to a close, Toyota has released its new line of trucks and SUVs for the new year. Known for their reliability and durability, Toyota has created a 2021 lineup with impressive upgrades to each model.

SUV Updates

The 2021 Rav4 hybrid, for example, comes with a new trim: the XLE Hybrid Premium. The electric XLE Premium model builds on the gas-powered XLE and offers luxury features such as the 18-in. 5-spoke alloy wheels and more. The most exciting line to come to 2021 for the Rav4, however, is the Rav4 Prime. Built with two electric motors, the Rav4 Prime is a plug-in model that is able to put out 302 horsepower, enabling it to drive up to 42 miles. That’s the longest range of any plug-in hybrid SUV!

Previously discontinued, Toyota has exhumed the mid-sized crossover, the Toyota Venza. Available solely as a hybrid powertrain, the Venza is packed with a 2.5L 4-cylinder gas engine with 3 electric motors, putting out 219 horsepower.

An all-new, athletic, and defined trim is introduced with the 2021 Toyota Highlander, the Highlander XSE. There is a heavier focus on the exterior styling, and it shows. Black accents, a mesh grille, twin-tip exhausts, and pronounced 20-in alloy wheels complement the new trim, giving it a striking, powerful new look.

The new 2021 Toyota 4Runner brings more to the table with the Trail Special Edition, perfect for those who love the outdoors. Exclusive to the 4Runner Trail Special Edition is the Yakima rooftop cargo basket, a 40-quart cooler with tie-down straps, and 17-inch TRD off-road tires.

If you are looking for a more refined and polished look, look no further than the 2021 Toyota CH-R Nightshade Edition. With the new Nightshade Edition, you will find blacked-out features, as well as an upgrade in safety features with the integration of the Toyota Safety Sense 2.0. Stay alert with features such as the Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, and so much more.

Truck Updates

If you are a fan of the sleek Nighstade Edition but are wanting something a little more durable, we recommend checking out the 2021 Toyota Tacoma. The new 2021 generation comes with two new models: the Nightshade Edition and the rough-and-tough Trail Edition. While the Nightshade Edition is glossy and exudes luxury, the Trail Edition is ready to take you on your next off-road adventure. With TRD off-road tires and lockable, insulated bed storage that doubles as a cooler, you’ll never have to worry about space or keeping your cargo safe.
